You’re looking for a fellow travel lover who just so happens to have a knack for planning - and will curate your trips with the same care and detail as her own.
I’m not your typical travel advisor. I’m more like a memory curator. Because I know you don’t just want to take a trip — you want everyone to be smiling ear to ear, not ready to come home when the vacation is over.
That’s why when I plan your vacation, it’s more than just about taking a trip. It’s about planning your itinerary for maximum fun and memory-making. It’s about pulling together all of the little details and experiences that truly make a trip memorable.
In a nutshell? I plan and coordinate your whole trip, I tailor it all to your wants, needs, and interests, and I collaborate with you every step of the way.
If I could only travel to one destination for the rest of my life, it would be Africa. There's just something about Africa that changes you and stays with you.
I've been fortunate to visit a few times and experience South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana. I've seen the Big Five, had quite a few close encounters with animals, ate worms, experienced the Apartheid Museum, toured Soweto and Mandela's homes, and flew in helicopters and tiny planes (which is super fun when you're afraid of heights). But the highlight was hanging off of the edge of Victoria Falls at Devil's Pool.
I'm already planning a trip to Mozambique in 2025 with my family to visit friends, and then heading to South Africa to share that beautiful country with my guys. And my number one top travel bucket list item is to go gorilla trekking in Rwanda.
I packed everything in on this trip!
I visited Memphis, rode a camel at the Great Pyramids, saw Alexandria, took a river cruise on the Nile, went hot air ballooning at sunrise over Luxor, and saw the absolutely stunning Abu Simbel. I saw mummies and visited more temples and monuments than I could count. I also saw a church where Jesus, Mary, and Joseph hid while they were in exile, visited a stunning mosque, saw the burning bush, and heard the beautiful call to prayer.
But the highlight for me was hiking Mount Sinai overnight - a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience.
During this epic adventure, I touched a koala, fed a kangaroo, learned about the aboriginal people and their culture, went hot air ballooning, and rode a camel at sunrise at Uluru.
I also experienced the gorgeous Field of Light and stargazing. We visited the coast and went on a beach safari, and saw Sydney Harbor and the Sydney Opera House.
One of my favorite thing about traveling is the people that you meet, and I met some pretty amazing travel advisors during this trip that are some of my dearest friends.
"I handed my travel to-do list over to Heather and voila! A perfectly planned trip that I know I couldn’t have put together all by myself."
